Ode To True Melancholy Hidden In Cheap Humour.

Who would have guessed the sage was right,

When she said honesty in India was nowhere in sight.
And for all the sins of mine, today I atone,
In a metro station, I lose my dear phone!
-
In sneakiness and in crime, till death do us part,
But alas! Some sneaky thief has broken our delicate hearts.
One moment it was here and in the next, gone.
Among a mechanical crowd, there I was alone.
-

Well, not quite alone- Sancho (Adrijaa) Panza came along,

In our Quixotic search from station to station long.
Even in ill fate, Sancho kept her mate's wishes,
While she cursed the thief to herpes type A, vicious.
-
But all was in vain, and we must bid farewell,
To a happy phone, and hope that it does well.
All the secrets shared within, are now his story to tell.
I do hope to god- may that new owner burn in hell!!
-
In that phone I lost a lover and a friend.
A lesson sure was learnt in the end-
When laughing in a metro, make sure ur backpack's secure,
for greedy thieves can be anywhere, beware monsieur!
-
But now that it's gone, one must let it go,
Let it's soul rest in peace, happiness be bestowed.
Life's little follies truly make it worth living,
Apparently you go to heaven with all this forgiving.
-
Well, look at it this way-
Atleast it brought some laughs,
And gave my idle brains a creative venture at last.
All's well that ends well, that's what they say.

I've paid my condolences, a new phone's on it's way. ;)

I. Am. Upset.
I have been on the verge of tears almost 5 times in the evening alone..
WHY did there have to exist such a bad conclusion to such a fun day?
I lost my phone.

MY PHONE.

my memories. Gosh I hate material dependence.

I am so so upset.
I have insatiable material AND aesthetic greed. What was I expecting for a exotic drive? Cuba?? Sheesh..
