Happy Ploshies! :)

Met a whole bunch of real happy people today.. Phew! What a change, indeed. I had almost forgotten what it was like going nuts with a bunch of friends. They reminded me so much of old times... But they were so different from anyone I had seen. They were strictly grounded, very fun, very bengali people. They're the sort of people my parents would have been in college. It's the same culture, the same values..Yet, perhaps a whole different world.

I had such a great time. I didn't participate much, it was my first time. For those who know me know I'm not a first time person.. But they were all so inviting and nice, I felt like I'd just married into their family :P (weird, I know..)

I know it'll take me some time to be a part of it all, but I wouldn't regret it.. and for the first time in this city, I think I would actually be willing to make the effort..
Happiness is infectious, sometimes.. and sometimes irresistible. These are a bunch of irresistibly happy people!
